Oak Acorn Fund for Student Programming

Acorn Fund

Mission Statement

In line with the Oak Institute’s mission, we are committed to engaging students and community members in human rights work through civic engagement projects, internships, events, art, and activism. The purpose of the Acorn Fund is to provide monetary support by way of small, one-time program grants to student-run clubs that wish to engage the Colby College and extended community in human rights topics.

With over 100 clubs and organizations on campus, this offers an opportunity to demonstrate the scope of human rights as an integral thread, woven into every discipline and area of interest.
