Borders and Human Rights Seminar: GS 111
An examination of the intersection of borders and human rights. Co-instructed by 2020 Oak Fellow. We will explore many aspects of human rights in relation to borders, including immigration, refugees, militarization, colonialism, imperialism, indigenous rights, and free movement. Students will also consider the different ways to address borders and human rights issues through an exploration of policy, advocacy, and technology. May be taken for credit a total of three times.
